Kids.....

-After taking a bite of french toast, eggs and applesauce all together Layton said, "Tell me, am I in heaven???"

-Layton told me to breath on him, so I did and he said, "Good your breath doesn't smell like alcohol"

-Kasen did the same thing to me today during Stake Conference. Pretty sure the people behind us heard him. lol

-Leah is finding her lungs! She has started screaming just for the fun of it! I can't believe I am going to be pulling out her 6-9 month old clothes soon.

Prayers

I think the boys prayers are the cutest ever. Tonight this was Layton's...
Heavenly Father thank you for all the different animals, mommy, daddy, toys, teddy bear, the door, my hands, my monkey, bless grandma and grandpa on mission, help us go to beckett's house (a cousin), thank you lights, star, mittens, Christmas tree, help us be good boys. Jesus Christ Amen

Funny Boys

*The other morning Kasen walks in our room and goes to Thomas. After a few minutes I ask......
"Kasen wanna come snuggle with mommy?
"No Momma's too big."

*Layton had his hand in his mouth, I think trying to relieve some molar teething pain. Anyway he sneezed really hard with his fingers still in and he bit his finger really hard (indent and everything), he cried and cried, sad but funny.

*We are putting the boys in the tub, and try to get Kasen to go potty before hand. He said he didn't need to go, so we put him in tub. As we are getting Layton undressed, getting bubbles, etc, we weren't paying attention to Kasen, but then he hands Thomas a lego, and says, "here you go daddy." Thomas dumps it out in the sink, and yup he filled the lego up with pee.....


*Layton loves to yell, "I did it!!!!" When he goes in the potty.

*I'm asking the boys what they want to do.
"Do you wanna do bubbles?"
"No"
"Do you want to color?"
"No"
"Do you want to clean up? Play on patio? Get out chalk? Play with playdough?
"No No No No......"
"Ok what then?"
(Kasen) "mmmmmmmmm.....". (puts his finger on cheek. thinking thinking...) "I want to eat food!!!"

Prayers

Last night when we put the boys to bed, Layton was kind of crying (which is unusual at bed time for him), but I just ignored it, said goodnight and shut the door. Immediately though I heard him get out of his bed, run to the door while crying and saying something i couldn't quite understand. I opened the door and asked what was wrong. He immediately sat on the floor, folded his arms and said, "Mom.... Me... Prayers....." how sweet is that? I think he was upset that Kasen said the prayer and we didn't really pay attention that Layton wanted to help or say his own prayer too. It melted my heart. It reminded me of how close children are to the spirit and that they really can feel the spirit, and are so receptive to it. I never want to forget these special moments with my kids. To me, I feel like we all have kids that have different needs, interests, flaws, or talents, but no matter what those things are, your kids are YOUR kids and nothing can stop you from loving them to the point that it hurts. I am grateful for my kids and the happiness I get every single day from them.

Fish

The other day Kasen randomly told me had to go poo poo

I said lets go in the potty!!!!

Side note- When I tried potty training them for a day a couple weeks ago, i told them if they went in the potty we would buy a fish. 

He was successful and went in the potty like a big boy, and I told him we would get a treat today since he went in the potty.

He looks up at me with big smiles and says, "mom I want a fish"... haha. We didn't get him in one, but I did buy these snack size fudgesicles for them, and since it was SUCH a beautiful day out we enjoyed our treats outside.

Day 135- ok?

Tonight while i'm sitting in the boys room till they fall asleep, Layton starts coughing a little. When he is done... Kasen says...."ok? ok? wayton ok?"....."yes" says layton.... so cute how we was concerned about his brother and wanted make sure he was ok.

Mom will take care of it

This morning I was hanging out with the boys and Layton was getting some warnings.  He was trying to stuff pencil crayons and other object under the couch, behind the couch, under door ways, and under cushions. After a few times of telling him no, I told him, "Layton you better not do that again or you're going to have a time out...." He slyly as watching me, slowly starts acting like he's gonna do it again, and.....
Kasen comes up to me and says, 'Mom, mom mommmmmm.... WAYTON, GO... wayton time out.. time out! mom mom mommmmmm, wayton spankin. spankin. spankin." haha, He was trying to get me to give him a spankin or time out.. it was just so cute though... I had to remind Kasen that ' mom would take care of it.'
