Jungle Animals

These two.... always coming up with something mischevious to do! Today they decided that climbing out the van window and onto the roof and sliding down the front window was the thing to do. I came outside to check on them and this is how I found them...."But mom we just wanted to be jungle animals, because we love jungle animals".

Flood!

So check out this disaster. The boys were in the tub. I was sitting right at the kitchen table diligently focusing super hard on drawing a picture of a giraffe for Layton. Since my art skills aren't so awesome, I was concentrating super hard. haha. Well the boys were splashing in the tub, but I thought I had shut the curtain so didn't really pay attention to it and of course, that giraffe needed all my attention...... I didn't even glance over.... that is until.....the water was to the kitchen!!!! ahh!!! How did I seriously not even look over? The boys know better not to splash so they got in big trouble. So I swatted their bare butts and all they did was laugh and say, "haha mom that didn't even hurt" so that got my blood boiling! but at the same time I was just laughing on the inside..... kids.... can't live with them can't live without them! They got in some more trouble but then ran around the house yelling, "i'm naked, i'm naked" and laughing their heads off. Man nothing was going to keep these boys down. They were like in the happiest, funniest mood ever. We cleaned it up together and then they started asking me... "Mom, we are really sorry.... will you forgive us??" Oh gosh those boys melt my heart. I told them I would always forgive them, because I love them, but that they should always try hard to do what was right.

Lights On, Lights Off

 

So the boys like to stand on their trucks and turn the light on, (when they are supposed to be sleeping). Tonight they went through all of these toys, to turn on the light.... oh boy.... kinda frustrating, but clever.

Funny Boys

*The other morning Kasen walks in our room and goes to Thomas. After a few minutes I ask......
"Kasen wanna come snuggle with mommy?
"No Momma's too big."

*Layton had his hand in his mouth, I think trying to relieve some molar teething pain. Anyway he sneezed really hard with his fingers still in and he bit his finger really hard (indent and everything), he cried and cried, sad but funny.

*We are putting the boys in the tub, and try to get Kasen to go potty before hand. He said he didn't need to go, so we put him in tub. As we are getting Layton undressed, getting bubbles, etc, we weren't paying attention to Kasen, but then he hands Thomas a lego, and says, "here you go daddy." Thomas dumps it out in the sink, and yup he filled the lego up with pee.....


*Layton loves to yell, "I did it!!!!" When he goes in the potty.

*I'm asking the boys what they want to do.
"Do you wanna do bubbles?"
"No"
"Do you want to color?"
"No"
"Do you want to clean up? Play on patio? Get out chalk? Play with playdough?
"No No No No......"
"Ok what then?"
(Kasen) "mmmmmmmmm.....". (puts his finger on cheek. thinking thinking...) "I want to eat food!!!"

How did I forget and leave the cereal ON the table?

Underneath

They LOVE being under blankets or anything really. While doing breakfast dishes this is how they occupied themselves. Threw all of the blankets and pillows on the floor, and climbed under the two 1/2 inch foamies that are on top of the mattress. haha

Boxes

 Just playing in some boxes before church! Who needs toys right?

Fish

The other day Kasen randomly told me had to go poo poo

I said lets go in the potty!!!!

Side note- When I tried potty training them for a day a couple weeks ago, i told them if they went in the potty we would buy a fish. 

He was successful and went in the potty like a big boy, and I told him we would get a treat today since he went in the potty.

He looks up at me with big smiles and says, "mom I want a fish"... haha. We didn't get him in one, but I did buy these snack size fudgesicles for them, and since it was SUCH a beautiful day out we enjoyed our treats outside.
