 Today has been a bit of a weird day! ha! I think because we have 9:00 church now and it was fast Sunday it went slow and fast and weird, all in one.

I took a two hour nap, which I guess was nice, but also felt like such a waste of time, then I was antsy and had a hard time actually waking up etc. 

Kasen did not come to church today becaue he was feeling so crappy, but he's actually been having a pretty great day this afternoon/evening. It makes me so beyond happy to have him smiling and laughing and fighting with his siblings like a normal kid.

Although it's been a weird day and i'm trying to figure out a routine for these kinds of Sundays, its been nice. We baked cookies and took to the Moala's. They weren't home though so that was quick. 

We had a good visit with Kasen. Today we got results for the genetic testing we did months ago. Layon and Leah tested negative for any gene mutations, but Kasen is positive and he has segawa's syndrome. We are in the very beginning of figuring out what that all means, but it feels like a huge step in the right direction and i'm excited to talk to a doctor and neurologist and really figure out how we can ACTUALLY best help him. These last few months have been hell, and today it feels a bit lighter.

I'm never going to be able to sleep tonight for taking that nap, but it's okay. It gives me time to do things like this... updating the blog/journal.

I'm excited to tackle the week. It's gonna be busy and wonderful all in one.

We are supposed to get flat work done. The cement in the garage poured and the front porch poured too! All of the sheeting on the roof is done, and he should be done framing end of the month. Then they will start working on electrical and plumbing and roofing should go on first week of February.

Layton is really improving in basketball so stinking much. He started Rigby Youth and it's so nice that they are actually winning and doing well. He played some great games.

Brooklyn is here for school and it's SO fun to have her around! She came for the day yesterday and watched the games and hung out and we loved having her here!
