I had a really nice birthday. We had stake conference and so we went to that and it was actually really good. A lot of good talks, encouraging words, and spiritually uplifting. We enjoyed a fairly quiet afternoon, took a little nap and then DJ and Somer came over and visited for a while. It was good to see them. We had a yummy dinner of steak and potatoes and Thomas cooked it all up and was so nice. They gave me a cross net for my birthday. Thomas was also so sweet and thoughtful and invited like 12-15 couples/families to come enjoy some dessert and play games and hang out outside for my birthday. I was really grateful for him. A bunch of couples and families came and we played cross net and volleyball and visited and its was wonderful. It definitely filled my cup. Most everyone even brought me a little gift too, which was really thoughtful.
