OxiFresh

SAY WHAT???

First  just let me do a little re-cap of what our 2015 looked like.
April- I graduated with my bachelors from BYUI
May- I turned 26 and after being diagnosed with cholestasis,  I had an emergency c-section and we had our darling perfect little girl. Leah was born on 5/15/15
June- I got mastitis, tried to figure out how to manage three kids, and we went camping
July- Thomas turned 30 and we had a fun month with friends
August- we celebrated baby Thomas' second birthday, went to Idaho for an interview at  Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) and I considered a teaching job at BYUI
September- moved to Idaho, and Thomas and I both started new jobs, adjusted to a new ward, new people and brand new jobs and co workers.
October- started looking to buy a house
November- house hunted, found the perfect one, put an offer on house, bought house
December- moved to Rigby and closed on our house

BUT we didn't want 2015 to have all the life changing events so we're adding one for this year.... a CAREER CHANGE.

SOOO.....We have loved being back in Idaho. Our house is perfect for us, we have been so incredibly blessed. However, most people don't know that Thomas hasn't loved his job I won't go into all the details of it but it led him to start looking at different opportunities outside of healthcare.

While searching for a couple months we came across a company called Oxi Fresh. It's a carpet cleaning company Franchise that is quickly becoming one of the leading in the industry. It's known for being the greenest carpet cleaning company in the world. Oxi Fresh was rated the #3 best franchise to buy in Forbes magazine, has been in the top 500 franchises to buy since 2009 in Entrepeneur magazine, it was also in Inc. magazine on there 500/5000 list among other awards. I could actually go on and on about the awards they've been given, but here is a link if you are interested....

Anyway after a few months, a lot of research, probably an entire notebook worth of pros and con's, lots of prayer and fasting we decided to buy the franchise and switch careers. We have been so nervous to tell all of our friends and family, but we have had nothing but positive support so far and we are so grateful for it. I know some people are going to think we are crazy. It sounds weird for Thomas to have a "socially acceptable" job in the healthcare field working at a major trauma 2 center and go to carpet cleaning. If you say it in that way, yes, it's crazy. But if you could see it from our perspective it an awesome new opportunity. And no, he doesn't want to clean carpets for the rest of his life but he does want to own a business and eventually just manage the company.

They flew us out to Denver in March We had an amazing time getting to know Johnathon Barnett (the CEO), all the marketing specialists, profitability coaches, product developers, vise president etc. It was SO fun and awesome. They treated us so well. We have never been anywhere alone for 6 1/2 years so it was kind of like a paid-for mini vacation for us! We think about it every day since we have been home!(more pictures later)

So we are now officially proud new owners of a business. It's a big deal! We are super excited about it.

Thomas will get to be his own boss. He won't have to work Sundays and the potential income increase is substantial. He's already an amazing people person and salesman, and he has a passion for this so he will do amazing things. I am super excited to be his partner in all this. Through the thick and the thin. It's going to be a lot of hard hard work and trial and error, but we are ready for it and are hopeful for it to be great!

This last weekend we did a booth at the Eastern Idaho Home and Garden Show as kind of our launch to he business. It was a huge success and gave out 498 coupon flyers and talked to hundreds of people. We had a lot of people super interested and impressed. We are getting some bookings already from it, which is really exciting.

Anyway that is the latest and greatest from the Nelsons! We are grateful for everyone and your support!
