Waterfall Canyon

We had a BLAST today. We got up and went hiking first thing this morning. It was absolutely perfect. Because we were on the trail before 9 the weather was nice and cool, and the whole hike up was shaded with beams of sunshine. It was a 2.5 mile hike round trip, and took us like 3 hours. Granted we did stop and take pictures, and throw rocks. The boys loved it. The end of the hike is a fun, beautiful waterfall. Layton was the leader the whole way and was basically running or climbing as fast as he could the whole way up. Kasen loves to throw rocks, and look at critters and show us every little thing, but I love how observant he is and how he likes to "stop and smell the roses" This was one of the most beautiful hikes I have ever been on (second only to Hawaii). It was seriously gorgeous and it didn't feel like I was in Utah AT ALL. So green and lush. We will absolutely be doing this hike again. We want to show it to everyone we know now! (the pictures are all out of order, but i'm not taking the time to arrange them in correct order.... you get the jist :)
