Grandpa Nelson came to visit over Thomas' birthday weekend (july 27th). The boys loved playing with their grandpa, and jumping all over him, and getting into his stuff. They especially loved his phone..... haha
We went to the farmer's market on Saturday morning. It was really fun and relaxing. Layton found this cool stick, and was saying, "I caught a fish, I caught a fish!!" over and over again. these boys always talk about fishing. we need to take them sometime!!

Thomas found a tree down by the lake he decided to climb. He is a good climber..
of course the boys begged to go up
so we let them... kasen was a little apprehensive at first, and clung tight to his daddy
Layton didn't care at all he was 8 feet up in a tree. these boys switch personalities all the time, I totally thought Layton would be scared and kasen would want to climb higher! haha the only thing you can expect with them is the unexpected.
Thomas turned 28. we had cake... mmmmmmm

I should have been more on top of it, and got more pictures with grandpa actually in the picture...
sometimes I fail at picture taking. in my defense, 9 months pregnant, and 2 two year olds isn't the best mix for a great memory.. haha.
