Today marks 17 years since I met Thomas. I'm so grateful I did. I love him so much.
Life lately.
My cousin Ben Gwilliam passed away by suicide in February.
My cousin Kyle Gulbranson passed away at the end of March because of a cardiac event after playing a hockey game.
My aunt Carol Gwilliam (Ben's Mom) passed away, likely due to a cardiac event last week at the beginning of April.
Those three and then also losing my other cousin Jaram Arnold, has weighed so heavy on my heart. They will each by missed in their own ways and so much from their kids, siblings, parents and spouses.
I am grateful for each of them and the examples that they are and were to me. I have been feeling quite paranoid and stressed about death in general because of all of these events.
Layton is in the middle of track season. He has been nursing a hip injury so this season has been a little rough for him. He has felt a little discouraged at times, but he will get there. He seems to be feeling pretty good this week.
Kasen started a junk removal business with William and Branson. I love love love that they are doing this as it is a good way for them to stay busier and also earn some money. They have gotten jobs for my old company and for a neighbor and have made close to $700 in their first week of business. I am so proud of them for pursuing this.
Leah is in the middle of Volleyball season. She is on a club travel team. Her team is really good and it is so much fun to watch her now. She is loving it and we are loving it for her and love watching her. She is just as social and fun as ever. My most favorite memory of her right now is... she wrote an essay for school and for her conclusion paragraph she wrote "Thanks for reading, bye!" That just shows her personality so much and makes me smile.
Today was a pretty normal day. I picked up Leah from school at 2:30, got her home, took her to volleyball, went home, picked up layton from track, went home, picked up Leah from volleyball, went home, picked up layton to go to the gym, did the sauna and red light therapy, then took him to mutual, then went home. So lots of driving around, but I loved it because that means my kid are busy, and involved and all the things.
I don't love the Sauna but I want to be a sauna person, so I very dramatically did it for 15 minutes (with 2 breathing breaks outside of it for like 30 seconds). haha. I would like to think that the sauna and red light therapy will help me sleep, help with inflammation and other things.
I ordered some make wellness products yesterday as well, and I am excited to get them. I really want to get feeling all around better and getting back to where I am able to get back to the gym. My back is flared up again and I have shooting paid down my leg, so that isn't fun and is very very discouraging.
