So I have been thinking a lot about attitude lately and how much it can affect us. I just wanted to post a little note about how much I admire my husband, Thomas. Thomas' Dad got here last night and they left early this morning to go to Montana, to a museum that his Dad had been wanting to go to. Anyway our car has not been working for about a week, we have been using my little sisters. I rushed into town today, and because her car has no parking permit, I decided to park at subway. I didnt see any parking signs or anything and I was running late so i left it there, just to come back 2 hours later, and find out it was towed. My sweet cousin Jill helped me out and I called about ten places before i finally found it. 100$ down that drain... i could not believe it...we dont have any money so it was kind of a blow... anyway i was pretty upset and feeling sorry for myself, but when i talked to Thomas he just looked on the bright side, and told me not to worry about it. oh how i love him and admire him. He does so much for me....Anyway, I think we need to live each day that these moments dont last forever, and somehow things will work out :)

Hi Kayla I'm a friend of Thomas from High School. I love reading your updates on life. Today's brought a thought to my mind and I wanted to share.

"Any task in life is easier if we approach it with the one at a time attitude. ... To cite a whimsical saying; 'If you chase two rabbits, both of them will escape.' No one is adequate to do everything all at once. We have to select what is important, what is possible, and begin where we are, with what we have. And if we begin and if we keep going the weight, the worry, the doubt, the depression will begin to lift .... We can't do everything always, but we can do something now, and doing something will help to lift the weight and lessen the worry, 'The beginning,' said Plato, 'is the most important part.'" --Richard L. Evans, Thoughts for One Hundred Days, vol. 4, pp. 89-90

Just take one thing at a time and the "BIG" problem will become that much easier to bare.

p.s. Tell Terri Hi for me (Melanie Simmonds) the next time you talk to her. :O)
